1. Commit to tidying up a specific area and record this ASAP on our form at https://forms.office.com/e/YeFrHWaYxk. This will allow us to track and share this information.
The area could be as little (just outside your house) or as large as you want.
2. (OPTIONAL) If needed, you can pick up gloves, pickers and bags on next Sat morning (5th April) from 11.00am to 11.30am. Many families will have these at home.
3. At any time that suits you during the week, tidy that specific area with the help of your family or neighbours. Take a photo and share with 0879808973 or on X with hashtags #CorkGAACleanupDay #GAA #CommunityCleanup @BrideRoversGAA
4. (OPTIONAL) You can bring any rubbish collected to the main field on Sat 12th April from 11.00am to 12.00pm, and join us for a cup of tea/coffee to celebrate the success of the initiative. Many families may wish to dispose of any rubbish collected via their domestic waste collection service.
Finally, the social event on Sat 12th April will see the launch of the Ladies Club Fundraising initiative through the Re-Turn Scheme. Bins will be introduced at the pitch areas to support the collection of waste cans and plastic bottles.
Please join us in this worthwhile initiative. Any queries to Michael Carey on 0879898973
