Bride Rovers Minor A Hurling 1-21 v Aghabullogue 1-12

Good win in the second round in the Minor A Hurling League.

Páirc Na Bride was the venue on another fine evening where we had 19 Players togged out against an Aghabullogue side that we hadn’t played before.

We won the toss and played with the easterly breeze up the field. Aghabullogue opened the scoring with a point from play, we scored the next 2 from play, both sides scored a few from frees and had a few wide too. We were the better side in the first half but couldn’t get that goal, the lads moved the ball well through the lines and had a 3 point lead at the Short whistle.

We start the second half much better with our backs winning good possession and delivering great ball into our forwards with our scores coming from 7 different players overall. Both sides score a goal a piece in the second half but our point scoring was far better, running out winners on a score line of Bride Rovers 1-21 to Aghabullogue 1-12.

Our next match is Hurling Home v Fermoy Wednesday 9th in Pairc Na Bride @ 6.30
