At an event in Páirc Uí Chaoimh this evening, club referee James Bermingham was recognised for his officiating of this year's Senior A Football Final.
Two of the umpires who support James and his fellow club referees were also acknowledged.
- Jim Ryan (Watergrasshill) for his longstanding contribution to Cork GAA through umpiring and supporting Sciath na Scoil.
- Niall Barrett (Carrigtwohill) for his longstanding contribution to refereeing in Cork and, in particular, it's development during his term as county Referee Administrator (2020-2024).
